California Adventure

I know its been a minute since my last post when I proclaimed that I was choosing my own adventure, but hey, changing the course of your life takes times. Plus, sometimes life itself gets in the way and you have to put one adventure on hold to focus on another. And boy, have I been having adventures.

Two weeks ago I traveled to sunny California (Orange County) to stand up next to one of the most beautiful and amazing women I've ever known as she wed an equally amazing man. The wedding was nothing short of perfect, which is exactly what I expected.

Feeling sassy in my pretty dress. What a fantastic color combo, right?

After the wedding was over I headed up to LA (Venice and North Hollywood) to hang out with two high school friends who have made Cali their home. More adventures were had - visiting a psychic, feasting on In-n-Out Burger, and getting checked out by a homeless man at the Disney Soda Fountain...I didn't say they were all fun adventures.

Now I'm back in Indy, prospecting some new job leads, and taking steps to really change my outlook on life. Stay tuned to learn more about that. My vacation rejuvenated me and reinforced the desire to make some changes. I'm excited to find out what will happen next.

...the quest continues!
